The Scientific Committee of Targeting Mitochondria 2012 is honoured to announce that Pr Douglas Wallace, from Center for Mitochondrial and Epigenomic Medicine, Philadelphia, USA will introduce the third edition of the world congress on Targeting Mitochondria 2012, which will be held in Berlin in November 8-9, 2012.

Pr Douglas Wallace will overview the perspectives of mitochondrial medicine and highlight some strategic directions and applications.

The Scientific Committee of Targeting Mitochondria 2014 will award the most innovative projects, devices or engineering methods with clinical studies upon abstract submission.

Two awards will be discerned for:

• Targeting Mitochondria 2014 Award for Scientific Contribution
  
• Targeting Mitochondria 2014 Award for Most Innovative Project

Report of Targeting Mitochondria 2010

The 1st edition of Targeting Mitochondria 2010, which was held in Berlin on November 18-19, was a big success. Around 135 persons, industrials and academics, coming from 26 countries, attended the conference.
